My PT has about 8400 miles on it. At around 2200 to 2500 rpms it has a slight miss. I had it at the dealer to check ot out. They found that here were no codes stored in memory. They flashed the pcm module. He told me to drive for a while because it had an active memory system and needed to adjust again. I put about 100 miles on it. The miss is still there. What can I tell the dealer that may help him find the prob. I think there was a TSB on this at one time concerning plugs and/or wires. I told them about the TSB but it must not have sank in there minds. Any help would be welcome.
By the way we just had heavy storms move thru the area some may have been tornadoes. These are moving north so all you guys in North Carolina "Watch the skies"
Thanks Dave

I have my PT at the dealer again for the miss at 2500 rpms or so. I have noticed that it does this basicaly when the ambient temperature is below 76 degrees or so. I let the Service Manager know that this morning.
Maybe its some type of sensor problem?
Will keep this updated when i get more info.
PS.
One of their service techs has a Turbo Cruiser that is real sweet. With mods it is pushing he said around 265 hp.I told him about Carolina Pt Cruisers and told him he needs to check out this site. Hope he is the one to work on my cruiser!

I have my PT in the shop this morning for the dealer to do the spark plug and plug wire upgrade to try to cure the engine miss. Will keep updated on this situation.

One of my soon-to-be-projects is to change the wires and plugs in my PT. It has almost 64,000 on it with the original plugs and wires. I can detect a bit of a miss now and then with it.
