It's Motor Madness time in Roanoke. It takes place on Friday evening, 6/27 and Saturday, 6/28 in Roanoke. Some of you have been joining the Star City PT Club for this event over the years and I hope that will continue. We always enjoy being with you through out the cruising season. Rather than me spellng out the schedule, go to www.starcitymotormadness.com where you can access the schedule as well as event information. George Barris, "King of Kustomizers", will be the special guest this year. You can see some of his cars at www.barris.com This event is in support of the Virginia Museum of Transportation Museum in Roanoke. We hope that you can join us this year for the event. Our club has supported and participated in it since 2001 when it started. If you need more info, either email me directly or access our message boards to see what our plans are.

Does your club have a specific location you'll be showing in, or is it just an open meet?

Does your club have a specific location you'll be showing in, or is it just an open meet? Our club parks at the Civic Mall parking lot on Williamson Rd. on Friday evening. Then we go downtown on Saturday morning (early) together and park where they lead us. We have always been able to park together as long as we arrive together. Remember, this is a "show off" rather than a judged car show. We do usually get a lot of questions from onlookers about our PT's. In fact, we picked up 2-3 new members last year. I think I remember Tony Tomes standing on the street downtown acting as the "information central" for the PT group ;D

That sounds like something Tony T would do.
