Hello Cruisers; The Route 66 PT Cruiser Club is proud to announce a new PT show and new venue. "Cruisin' with a Heart" will be held August 1,2008- August 3,2008. The show will take place at the Locust Shade Park in Triangle, Va. Friday night we'll have a live band (the String Kings) and a special performance by "Elvis" (Michael Hoover-one of the best!!) And of course the glow show and an award for the best "Lit up person"!! Saturday after the show we have a buffet and award ceremony. This year we are giving particpation trophies to all who pre-register. More updates to come. Hi, The pre-registraton fee is $25.00. We would love to have you come to our show. The host hotel is the Holiday Inn and the code is R66 --all the rooms at the hotel have 32" flat screen TV's!! Hello Cruisers! www.easyshowreg.com/registration.php?sid=32The show is getting close! Here are a few updates. Our show is dedicated to Brent William's memory. We are going to have his car on display at the show as well as some of our favorite pictures of Brent. If you have a favorite picture, story or memory of Brent please brings it to the show and we will place those near his car so our newer members can have the opportunity to know what a wonderful man Brent was. If you cannot attend the show but would like to send along pictures or comments about Brent please send them to any of our club members and we will add them to our memory book. Hotel reservations need to be made by July 6th for the $99.00 PT Cruiser rate. We will meet those of you coming in on Thursday night in the lobby of the Holiday Inn and have dinner in the restaurant in the hotel. On Friday please make time to visit the Marine Corps Museum. We will have a group heading over together or feel free to go over any time you like. www.usmcmuseum.org/index.aspFriday night we will have a 50's party complete with a beautiful tribute to Elvis. The Glow show will be help in the hotel parking lot. We will have a mobile car wash company on had to wash cars or there are several car washes in the area too. It is going to be HOT so please bring sunscreen, hats, water, squirt guns, ice, coolers, chairs, tents and fans! We will have specialty awards and participation awards for all who are registered so please take the time to enjoy the park on Saturday and do not worry about having to do major car cleaning. This is also Tax Free weekend in Virginia so take some time to hit Potomac Mills or one of the shopping areas and save a few $$. The Route 66 PT Club looks forward to seeing you at the show.
