Approx 2.5 hrs and 130 miles. You would come I-85 to I-77 to I-40 to exit 174.This is per mapquest. or Tan-G you could come 85 to 321 to 40, and bypass 77. Let us know if you are planning to go Stoke and I could meet you at the rest area on 40 near Statesville. |

Dragway Address is Farmington Dragway 2992 Hwy 801 North Mocksville NC 27028 James Liked to had never found this on my Garmin GPS...don't know how I done it but I finally found that darn elusive Hwy 801 and found 2992 NC Hwy 801 North...GPS coordinates N 36°00.887' W 080°33.582' whew...that was work!  |

We will be meeting at the McDonalds in Kernersville. The address is 1400 Heartland Drive Kernersville, NC 27284. The McDonalds is at exit 203 on I-40. We will leave at 9:00 am sharp from the McDonald's parking lot.

Tim, no, we will only be getting together in Kernersville at that McDs. Leaving at 9am sharp and you don't have to pre-register. For those of you coming from the west, take I-40 east to exit 174 (Farmington Road) at the top of the ramp turn left (crossing back over 40) and go 4 miles to a flashing red light, (that will be highway 801)....turn left onto Hwy. 801 go about 100 feet and turn right into the parking lot of Farmington United Methodist Church and we will join up with you there between 9:30-9:45am and you can just drop in line and we will continue up Hwy 801 for about 2 more miles and the dragway is on the right. I drove it this afternoon to make sure of my info.

Will the canopy's be allowed? We toted ours with us to Taylorsville today for nothing. We'd like to leave it at home if its not needed or can't be used.

Yes you can bring a canopy with you if you like, last year we had 2 with food, drinks, cleaning supplies under them, with some room left for people LOL. If the weather isn't great you might be happy to have yours with you because this is a rain or shine event.
