Wow, just days away from Cruisin' Speedway In Lights! We have 38 cars registered and 70 folks signed up for the Meet & Greet at Fatz Cafe!  If you have a 2-way radio bring it with you, we will use them cruisin over to Bristol Motor Speedway. Weather is always unpredictable here in the mountains. This time of year it's in the 50's during the day and can get down in the 30's at night. You might want to bring coat, hat & gloves just in case! If anyone needs directions to Fatz Cafe or BMS let me know. Have a safe trip over and I'll see all y'all soon! Becky ;D |

Wow, I had a blast seeing my ol' cruisin buddies and making new friends! I didn't get any pictures of the lights but I did get a few pics of everybody at Fatz Cafe. Thanks again for making the trip, I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving and I hope to cruise with ya again soon!  Becky ;D |

Lisa, Speedway in Lights runs through January 5th so there's still time to visit the lights. Here's their webpage for additional information www.bristolmotorspeedway.com/events/speedway_in_lights/. I won't be hosting "Cruisin Speedway In Lights" anymore. There are too many conflicting cruises going on that same weekend. Hope to catch up with you at a cruise sometime, would love to meet you! I looked for you at the beach because I wanted to meet you, but you were away from your car. I look forward to meeting you sometime in the near future. I'm sorry you won't be doing the speedway anymore.

Just to show what kind of 'special' person Becky Allen is... as if I needed to tell anyone that.
ANYWAY... while at her 'Speedway In Lights' event, the participants secretly collected money to help Becky with her costs of hosting this fun event once again.
After making her take the money she then turned around and gave all of it back to me to use towards our 'Palmetto PT Cruisers' 2008 club charity fundraiser for the Victory Junction Gang Camp for kids.
THANK YOU Becky for being so gracious!
I felt a little uncomfortable taking the money from her after I had given it to her because I was one of the culprits that helped collect it with the sole intention of her keeping it... for her!

Becky, as ususal, you did GOOD!
The family had a great time and they want to make it a Tradition. Even if you don't do it again, we may come on up and you can join us on the ride.
