A friend of mine is apart of the Relay For Life program at her work place. They are having a show in Goldsboro on the 14th of April. That is the same weekend as the Auto Fair at Lowe's Motor Speedway. If some of you might be interested in attending the show please let me know.
The Relay for Life "Car and Truck Show"

Registration begins at 8:00 a.m.
Registration Fee: $20.00 Spectators Free

Best Paint
Best Interior

Best Under Construction
Top 3 Model Car Contest
Judging begins at 1:00 p.m.
Trophies presented at 3:00 p.m.
Cars, Trucks,Classics,Customs,etc. are welcomed to attend.
Food and Drinks available
50/50 raffle
Donations are also welcomed.

We plan to register our car for the show. The money goes for a good cause. Sears is at the Berkeley Mall so shopping in the small but nice mall is available for the ladies that attend the show. There are also some good eating places close enough to the mall so you don't have to go to far from your cars. I know more folks would attend but the Auto Fair is on the same weekend and I thank all of you for taking time to reply. Good luck at the Fair and if any of your plans change and you can attend please let me know. ;D ;D ;D

Sorry more PT'ers could not make it to the show. (That darn Auto Fair).The day started out on the cool side but as the day went on it got warmer.
Dolan and I were two of the first cars to show up. (We be on the older side of the folks that were at the show). We parked a little closer to the DJ's area than we realized, so we got the full impact of the music. They played a varied mix, some we were knew, some we may have heard at the Beach shows. All and all a good mixture. My ears only started to bleed once. I relocated more behind Dolan's car and was able to get the bleeding under control. I'll pay more attention to the location of the DJ next time. The Old Folks home across the street from the area were very moved by the music, I think I saw a few of them out on the lawn holding their chest. ;D ;D
More on the serious side, they raise over $1500 dollars for the Relay for Life and that makes it worth it. We do plan to make it to next years show and I'll talk to the planners so it hopefully does not fall on the same weekend as the Auto Fair. They would be so impressed with the cars we have in our clubs. So keep next years show in mind.

Dean, congrats on the money raised for a very good cause.
That would be great next year if it was not on Auto Fair weekend.
We could possibly have a big group show up for that.
