Becky, I will set it up for 7:30pm FRIDAY night just in case we stay at Cades Cove a little longer. The later you stay there, the more wildlife you see.
To be on the safe side I will tell them to expect 35-40 people and when we get a final count that wants to go then I can call them ahead of our arrival.
Is this OK? Just trying to help. Afterall, you are the Princess...........HA.

Sounds great Tom! Help is always appreciated! Trying to set up an event by yourself is NO FUN so I really do appreciate you being able to do this for me. And since I AM the Princess... I shall knight you Sir Tom for your loyality and dedication to the PT Cruisers!

Dummy Me!
I forgot all about them having an Apple Barn restaurant right there in Gatlinburg. All I was thinking about was the one in Pigeon Forge (actually in Sevierville) because that's the only one I've ever been to.
So anyway...I will set it up for the one in Gatlinburg because that will be much closer and quicker. It's located at traffic light #10. In fact we can do it at 7:00pm if we go to that one.

Yes, our hotel is at traffic light #5 and the restaurant is at #10 and we go right by it when we cruiz to Cades Cove. That will be much better because the traffic will be terrible that time of night on a Friday going to Sevierville. It would be a nightmare trying to stay together in a long caravan so we will go to that one in Gatlinburg.

We still tend to fly (usually off the handle) somewhat, but when we do land we take care of business.. Look forward to seeing everyone at the Smokies. Now, when is everyone heading there. We are going Thursday morning, got any takers on caravan?

I should be getting there Thursday around 5 PM. PT Boutique will be arriving on Thursday also and we are taking any and all help to get their merchandise unloaded and into the conference room.

Becky, You should have plenty of help for PT Boutique.
So does this mean they will not be set up outside but inside the hotel in the 'conference room'?

Becky, You should have plenty of help for PT Boutique. So does this mean they will not be set up outside but inside the hotel in the 'conference room'? That is correct. Vendors are not allowed on the streets of Gatlinburg. They have to be located "inside a building". So I have reserved the conference room (which is huge!) for them to do their sales and the room will also be used by me for registration/sign-in and hospitality. This has a couple of positives.... it will be air conditioned so everyone will be inside out of the heat and if it rains (God forbid!) everyone will stay dry. I hope this meets with everybody's approval.... I get lemons I make lemonade. Becky ;D
