Have a couple choices for lunch on Friday. I know, ole Tony is always looking at food and restaurants. Anyway, because of the number of us, they tell me we need to be at the ferry at noon. There is a restaurant there at the ferry but they are closed. They indicated they would open for us if I would guarantee them 35 meals. They are offering the following:These are your choices
All baskets come with fries and pickle
Chicken Salad Sandwich
Veggie Burger
Shrimp Burger
Chick Filet
$5.95 plus tax.
Or, there is a restaurant in Harkers Island, but they open at 11 and we need to be at the ferry at 12. A third option would be to stop in Beaufort and either eat early there or pick up subs and or chicken and tailgate on the ferry.
I need a vote as to your choice.
Please respond by Sunday afternoon so I can make arrangements on Monday if I need to..

Tony, I have a suggestion for saturday if we have time ,on the way to Greenville we will come close to the town of Bath.Bath is the oldest town in North Carolina incorparated in 1705.Alot of
history to se here.

I looled at maybe doing that James, but I trhink we are going to be on a pretty tight schedule. I would not mind it if we have time though. I guess we will have to just see how we are doing on time when we get close.

Well, all the votes we got weree for tailgating so that is what we will plan on. Should be able to find a Subway or KFC in Beaufort, be shure to bring your coolers. Remember now, they pack us in pretty tight on the ferry so we might not have lots of room between cars, but I am sure we can figure something out.

Just thought I would pass this on,just saw on the news that the computer that runs the credit card machine for the NC ferries was stolen so it will be cash only.

The ferry is 15 bucks per car. There is no fare fro the Hatteras ferry.
