 Nov 5th is the date set for the SJAFB open house or wings over Wayne event this year. I have been in contact with the base personal to get us some spots on the flight line like last year but did request more then last two times.No real info as of yet but hope to hear back soon so we can get this event in the books and on the way. thanxs Rocky P.S. If your interested I'll start taking names for the cut off once i hear how many spots but just giving everyone a heads up. ;D

Good to hear from you and thanks for your enthusiasm to participate in the show. This year we are having the show on the F-15 ramp vice the ramp we used last year. Because of this change we are still assessing our ramp layout and size restrictions. Once we have figured out where all the aircraft will go I will talk to the Wing Commander about his desires to allow car clubs to fill in the gaps. I will have an answer for you as soon as I can. Rocky,
If i can get my port call date moved, i may be there. Ferry leaves Bellingham, WA on the 18 Nov and gets to Seward, AK on 24 Nov.

;D Well we're in so I'm getting a list together and will post it soon. We only have 9 open spots. And so far from your post there are 6 interested as of now so get in now and once we get the 10 total it will be a waiting list . We can accept 10 cars. Capt Riggs will take care of you. Kim, We can take 10 cars each from the Mustang club, Corvette club and PT Cruisers to be placed on the ramp. So selling of merchandise please. well i have come to find out that cant get off from azo on that day, we are going to have a special promotion on the 5th so ill have to be at work, so i wont be able to attend and iwas looking forward to it since im from goldsboro. sry rocky.

Here's the latest from the base.
The vehicles need to be in place by 0800 on Saturday. Do your members plan to arrive on Friday or Saturday? They can use the Fire Dept drive as long as they arrive by 0700 on Saturday morning. After that, it will be set up for pedestrians only. The attachment shows the general area where the car clubs will be set up.
Plan to come in through the Slocumb gate. Do you need directions to the base for the other members?
