A great time at the 2005 Azalea Parade followed by the Meet & Greet at Neuwirth Motors. This was the 58th annual Azalea parade but the first for the PTs. The PTs got good TV coverage on channel 6 and the spectators really like the PTs. The weather was a cool windy overcast 62 degrees but NO rain. ;D ;D Photos can be viewed at the following link: www.imagestation.com/album/index.html?id=2128339461

Hey Dolan, great photos! We need to make sure you have your camera at every event we go to. The weather was pretty good too. A bit windy, but no rain.

We would like to thank Tony and all of the folks involved with the work they did setting the Meet & Greet up at the Festival. As you all know we had a great time in the parade and the gathering at PT's burger place. We had some great sea food, burgers, hotdogs, and let's not forget the ribs. (Those are a few things I had). ;D ;D I also had a Reese's peanut butter cup cookie. It was a meal in itself. Link: www.imagestation.com/album/index.html?id=2128334778

Thanks to everyone who made it down to Wilmington, especially our l-o-n-g distance attendee....Miss B.
Hopefully in the future we'll not have TWO (or more) events scheduled on the same day.....kinda stretches the crew out, don't it?

I also want to thank Tony & Becky and all the folks that took the time and energy to plan this event. I had such a blast being in the parade and getting to see all my friends & meeting new ones! I am a morning person but getting up at 4:30 am to make a parade was a challenge! LOL! It was a bit windy but at least it didn't rain on our parade! Great pics Dolan & Lena and Dean & Kathy! Dean didn't mention he put Kathy out of the PT to run up and down the parade route taking our pics! Great job Kathy! Oh and all that food! Great seafood, burgers and ribs all weekend long! Hey.... I managed to miss the cookies! Where were they at? Tony, y'all sure know how to pick the eating spots! I'll have to work twice as hard at the gym this week to get rid of the extra pounds! LOL! I'm looking forward to seeing everyone next month at Cruise The Smokies IV!
